SESSION TWO:
Self Acceptance + Appreciation
💘 Journal Prompts
-
✨ Self acceptance, appreciation, + celebration:
1. How have I shown up for myself recently, even in small ways? (emotionally, mentally, creatively, energetically)
2. What have I done lately that I’m proud of, even if no one else noticed?
3. What’s something I once hoped for myself that I’m already living now?
4. How can I show appreciation for and celebrate myself this week? (could be a word of affirmation, a way to treat myself, or a plan for rest).
-
✨ Reframing + releasing an old narrative:
1. What’s a story I’ve been telling myself about who I am or how I “should” be? Is it rooted in fear, comparison, perfectionism, or old conditioning?
2. Where did this story come from? Whose voice does it echo? (Family? Society? An old version of myself?)
3. How has this story shaped the way I see myself or how move through the world?
4. What evidence do I have that challenges or contradicts this narrative? When have I proven this narrative to be untrue?
5. What narrative feels more aligned with who I am now and who I’m becoming? What might a more compassionate or true version of that story sound like today?
6. What mantra or affirmation can I carry forward to anchor this reframed narrative?
-
✨ Affirmation for how you show up:
1. What qualities have been guiding me lately, even if I haven't named them yet? (ie. tenderness, resilience, courage, patience, creativity)
2. When I pause to look with appreciation, what feels beautiful or brave about the way I move through the world right now?
3. How would I affirm a close friend if they were showing up the way I am? How can I offer that same affirmation to myself?
4. If I wrote an affirmation that honors how I’m showing up in this season, what would it be?

💭 Questions to guide reflection:
How did it feel to slow down and write today?
Did anything surprise you as you were writing?
Was there a word or phrase that stood out to you in your journaling?
Did your writing take you somewhere you didn’t expect?
Anyone else feel something shift or land while they were reflecting?
What came up for you when you thought about a reframe or appreciating yourself?
Was it easy or hard to name what you’re ready to release? Why do you think that is?
Sometimes silence means something is still settling. Anyone want to speak to what’s landing or lingering for them right now?
Did anything someone else shared resonate or mirror something for you?
Has anyone named something that feels familiar to you too?
What patterns or themes are we noticing across the group, if any?
